Jam nuts If you take 2 hex nuts, tap w/joint pin size, screw the nuts on the pin. Hold one static tighten the 2nd nut up against the 1st.With your wrench on the inside nut,extract the pin. You cannot damage the pin. P S&S Cues

Points Ginacues points are CNC. I do not hear any complaints about the way "internals" on Ernies' cues. Many roads lead to same destination. If you want spears... let there be spears. P

Joint Preference I am the "new guy on the block" so to speak. I believe that whatever joint used in cue construction; must be built in a manner of perfection whether piloted or flat faced. I have seen both types from the elite builders (Tascarella, Hercek,BB, Gus & Schick). I really like 3/8x10...

Shaft blueing Without a lathe your options are very limited. Attach a shaft drive pin to an drillmotor. CAREFULLY using wet/dry, start w/ 400 w/ some dilluted Simple Green & work your way up the grit level to 1000. Once you get them as close to clean as you can.... Immediately quit using...
