I just got a new cue from the guys at Carolina Customs and it hits real stiff. the ferrule is a little longer than normal though and the tip seems to put plenty of spin on the ball (I think it's an Everest tip). The shaft is 13mm. The combination of all that seems to be just right for me...

These two cues had another brother - which I have now. Trevor from CC sent me a pic with three cues a couple weeks ago - these two were in it as well as the SP I ended up getting. I have to say the cue I got plays absolutely incredibly. My bet is that these do too!
