Everything Bergman has done this year has been done on a bar table, with the exception of like one event.
Shuff and Oscar + SVB, Corey, and I guess Schmidt. Bergman definitely deserves his chance, but I'm just unsure how his big table game can even be compared to that of the Europeans. I think...
Well, for starters, not playing a joke league would make you better. Maybe small distance traveling to local amateur events? That'd be my thought. A league doesn't make you better once you're a "good" player.
Haha. He was given a warning at the U.S. Open this year when he played Michael Yednak in the first round (also known as a very slow player). Their race to 11 took 4.5 hours and put several matches behind on the day. Watching them play is like watching paint dry. Literally. Probably slower than...
Are you gonna travel down to Midlothian for that APT event in a few weeks? Would be nice to catch up again. I think I'm gonna go beat some balls around there after I get back from Vegas.

Sorry, Matt! Would've been cool to meet you, dude. I just started playing it with some friends for fun a few months ago. I'll be sure to just go pot-pot-pot on a 1/2 - 5/10 O8 table for both of us!
You should look into talking to Gilmer down in Starkville. I know he was talking about getting several new Diamonds in his hall. Maybe you could work something out that way.
You guys do realize he's played in the IPT, the Mosconi Cup, and the World Cup of Pool before...right? It's a completely different scenario. Even with the story of Darren coming to the U.S., it doesn't compare.
