Shane beat Johnny the second set 9-3 and won the tourney. This was the first time I saw Shane play and is he ever amazing! Johnny was on a roll but couldn't quite do it this time. Danny K

Appears like a touch of right with extreme high english. I believe his preference would have been to have gone further and clear the cue ball closer to him or even graze the eight on the side nearest to him. Still a great shot, but he might have preferred to not have to shoot over the eight...

I guess I came in late on this thread and can't comment because I don't know the exact shot everyone's speaking about. There is one in the video where Efren goes two rails and lands in between the 7 and 8, and then the pool table diagram where the six is near the rail. Danny

Joey, A chiropractor told me years ago that the normal "Mosconi" stance can cause back problems. He told me to do sort of a "half squat" , bending both knees and face the table more squarely. I still get some back problems but not from pool. Danny K

Yeah, it may be a shaft or jump cue, but still one is a foul and the other isn't. Danny

You have a couple of different shots here. Yeah, with a full cue as in the video in slo mo it's a foul, but if you notice the pool cue is beyond vertical, and is a full cue. So the cue ball is hitting the cue a second time. In the video we're questioning though, the cue (shaft only) is slanted...

The cuestick quickly gets out of the way, backwards because of the light weight of the shaft. I don't hear a foul, but I suppose there could be one. If you think about it, though the circumference of the cue ball hopping over another sphere is not tantamount to the ball having to go straight up...
