I prefer a bumper myself. If I had built a cue bumperless and a buyer wanted a bumper I would install one. As much abuse as I see cues go thru at the poolhall I would put bubble wrap over the whole cue if I could get away with it. :D

Interesting handle. Is that freeform lamination or inlayed? Chris Kurzwiel does some similar looking freeform laminations with veneers.

Can anyone who has joint protectors that will fit teds cues please post them here.

I really wanted to bid on that but I got to talking about cues and missed when they auctioned it. I would have put it in the shop.

I oldmost bought a George Balabushka for 250! It was signed and everything! LOL. I was going to buy some cues but Ted just held his bidder card up the whole time so he pretty much bought every cue and vase in the place. I did manage to pick up a couple nice pieces. I got a brunswick veneered cue...

I have a jet that is a great saw. It is the contractor style one. It is very quiet and smooth running. If you could stretch your budget a little the cabinet saws are very nice and will generally last a lifetime unless you use them 24/7

I have a few customers here in town who have a few of his cues. Pm me your number and I will pass it along to them if you are looking for one of his cues.

I think he is done building cues. I am not positive but that is what I have heard from everyone.
