Best Break Cue on the Market

I have been absolutely killing the 1P break with my player :p as far as hard breaks go.....whatever you can be most consistent with I have a friend that has a barely and I mean barely used Pechauer break cue, and an original Mezz power break for sale. I can ask him how much if you are...

Unnaturally fast conditions...how do you adjust?

I was reading through the thread, thinking of my answer, and stumbled upon this post....pretty much exactly what I would have advised. Good post Sir.

    What's Better? What's Worse?

neither would love to be one of those guys that can drill every jump shot they see + I kick pretty decent now I don't miscue enough to remember - I'd guess chalk I use what's there - sharing is kinda required

    Bergman vs Orcollo

agreed - pretty even, though the edge probably goes to Dennis. But I do think it'd be JBs best shot at winning. I'd sweat that one with ya.

    Bergman vs Orcollo

after Dennis wins the race to 15, I'd like to see a race to, I dunno, maybe 6 in 1P. I think that'd be a better match up.

    Criticizing Gambling

honestly Joey if you didn't let it get to you, you wouldn't be asking others opinions about it. Take peoples opinions for what they are worth to you....if that is VERY little, let 'em roll off you like water off a ducks back. BTW, JoeyA, your haircut is stupid - says a guy with little hair left :p

    another 9 ball question

there are a buncha "what ifs" in this situation.... none of them matter, no ball was pocketed, and a legal hit was made. Definitely NOT ball in hand. now, to the what ifs....call one ball or the other, both won't fly. Still I don't see a foul being called. Unless he pockets the 9 and declares...

2015 AZB Ghost Challenge - Official Thread

This thread piqued my interest....though I pretty much despise 9 ball, I was curious how I would do after seeing some of the other vids. I decided what the heck. If I don't do well I can blame it on never playing or practicing rotation games at all. If I do well; well, that's cuz I'm a stud...

    Practicing on Coin-op tables

challenge someone to play you, loser pays....nowadays they'll give up after 5 or 6 losses in a row. Find another chump; errrr, opponent, and repeat until you feel good and practiced up. :p our local poolhall gives you the option of per game or time on the barboxes (all brand new Diamonds), but...

    Practicing on Coin-op tables

some strange advice in this thread..... to practice on coin op tables, after shooting in 15 balls, all you have to do is pay to get them back out. Seems simple enough to me.

Are you any good at pool?

occasionally I'll have a golf buddy ask about pool, and how well I play it. As stated above, it's easy to explain it to a golfer. I usually tell them my "tagline"....I'm better with a wedge :p

    Darren Forfeits Beloit

Isn't Jesse at fault as much as Darren....I mean, hill/hill til 1 AM. He shoulda known Darren's buyer in the calcutta couldn't be happy about that. What if it gets his adrenaline pumping so much that he can't get much sleep before his morning match? Didn't Jess know that Darren went for MORE in...

    Darren Forfeits Beloit

what a thread.... What more do you people want than an apology that has already been given? Darren missed out on his INCOME; not a wager. I think he feels WAY more sick about oversleeping than the OP. bummer that it happened DA....good luck in future events.

    Anybody hate One Pocket?

I hate 1P for a MUCH different reason than those previously mentioned.... I hate it cuz I can't get enough of it. If I could play every day I would. That still wouldn't be enough...I'd still be hunting down vids of matches, and trying to absorb something from them. Damn it...I need to play now...

Life....The Thing That Happens Between Tournaments

never really thought of it that way.....interesting. For me it's yet another form of competition. At one time, that mostly revolved around baseball, with the occasional pick up game of basketball, or going to a buddy's house playing pool or ping pong; heck, I'll race ya home from the bus...

Should pro players play on 7ft table tourneys?

serious bangers should educate themselves on what they are getting into if they are entering big enough tourneys to draw in pros, and "groupies" as you call them; or dead money, can do with their money as they wish. If I fall into the groupie category, so be it....I can tell you my dead money...

Should pro players play on 7ft table tourneys?

Personally, I couldn't care less what tourneys anyone plays in other than the ones I do. If those include pros...no biggee. Each and every event I've played in that had pros in the field; I knew there would be. So, by choice, I paid my entry, and watched a better player end up taking it home...

Should pro players play on 7ft table tourneys?

they should be able to play on whatever table they'd like.... not sure I understand the question. Should they be "allowed" to play in amateur events on barboxes? no. Open events?? sure, why not Are you saying it's just too easy for them? Should PGA touring pros play in tourneys where the...
