I agree 100% with Mr Hoope on this. A Progressive lense is cut so only the center portion of the lense is actually in focus. I'd guess from 1/4 to 1/3 of the width of the lense is cut for your vision...the rest might not even exist. My normal glasses are progressive and if you aren't looking...

Green speck would look good since you have green in the cue. Black Bison would work too...pretty generic color. How about both? Green speck for front and rear three inches and bison in center 6 inches. Never seen that done (at least with two different materials). The leather would catch...

Sometimes a good hard 'rap' with you hand on the side of the joint will loosen it up a bit. Don't hit it so hard that the cue snaps in half, but a good firm smack might work. Works for me more often than not. L8R...Ken
