My friend has and older cue from 60's or 70's unknown, I don't have any pictures right now. The cue has a 3/8-8 wood to wood with a white joint that is yellowish color but I don't think it is ivory. My question is how many cue makers back then used this joint screw 3/8-8? Thanks for any help. Louie
I took a lesson from Ray over a year ago and it was worth every penny I paid. His lessons are very reasonable, I was like a kid in a candy store being there with such a great legend. I can't wait for the tape to come out, you can count me in for it.
I have played with a Black Kamui hard for the last 2 years and use it for breaking and playing. I have had it flatten out a couple of times but it never mushrooms. I have used the ultimate tip tool to shape it to a dime about 3 times and now I haven't shaped it for over 6 months and the tip is...
I have a Alex Brick dymondwood jump cue and it is very heavy too. This cue jumps unbelievable, I have a friend who could never jump a ball and his first try with my jump cue he not only got over it he make the ball. I have noticed with other lighter jump cues if you strike off center a little...
A Schemlke with the big brass joint. When I wore the green brillo pad out after a week and the cue was still sticky and played like s**t, I went back and traded it.
I bought a beautiful Mason H cue with 2 shafts, the cue hits like a cannon but I can't seem to get use to the taper of the shafts. I need someone to make me a shaft with a 12 inch pro taper. My question is do I need to send the cue to a cue maker if I don't care about the ring work being match...
I have a Black Kamui hard and had it on for 2 years and it still looks like brand new. I never scuff it and keep it at a dime shape and I rarely miscue. I have a bad habit of only chalking about every third shot with blue diamond chalk. Best tip I have ever used.
I have used a Black Kamui hard for over 3 years and I break with it. It still looks like brand new and it has never "mushroom" on me. I play about 6-8 hours a week, mainly 9 ball and I crush the break with it.
