ridge back rails on a valley

Glen didn't say that specifically but I think intended it. Y es, you need to raise the entire slate that exact amount on the aluminum supposts as well as around the perimeter. Robin

    Need help with Valley battery

I owned one of those back in the 90's and it used a single 6 volt camping battery.

Table build video -rails- on YouTube

I think it was a pretty fair effort. Good video for a DIYer wanting to build their own table.

    A Sandy Survivor!

Nice resurection from the dead Pat! That table also looks like the old Playmaster Corinthian. They had one that was a dark cherry stained maple and looked pretty sweet. Mr. Davis does some fine work!!

***Let's see your Jeff Olney cues***

Hey Bob - yeah, it's cared for and even the two original shafts still look great. Once I get the one Jeff is building for me now, I will get this one back to him to refinish. It has a few minor dings in the finish and the rings have very slightly popped, so it's time. Robin

***Let's see your Jeff Olney cues***

Here's one of Jeff's first 75 cues which is about 22-23 years old now. It has 4 shafts all with ivory ferrules and I play with it everyday. All the white is ivory, the black is ebony and has abolone diamonds in the butt. I had Mike at Carolina Cues put the ringtail lizard wrap on about 3...

    Deal or no Deal

I have never personally worked on one that didn't need knew cushions. Once I've installed new, they seem to play well.

Irving Kaye Silver Shadow good 7'?

That's not a 7' table. 44 x 88 is a standard 8'. Rick is right about hard to find parts. IK tables also use an oversize cue ball through the trap.

Hey Jim - Thanks for the kind words. It was a pleasure meeting you and your wife. My wife & daughter had a wonderful time so the trip was a success by entertaining them and getting your table back in business for you. I know we'll be back at some point and I check in with you to see if you...

    brunswick prestige

Probably was! South Charlotte right? I felt so bad for her and didn't want to insult her in anyway so asked if she'd like to double the offer. Whoever it was that offered her $500 was ripping her off as far as I'm concerned. BTW, very nice lady!!! You should be proud to call her Mom...

    Pro Line billard fabrics.

Had the same results with the 101 and won't use it anymore. It might be okay on bar boxes but not a backed slate. I use ProForm quite frequently. Easy to install and plays well for a lower cost, worsted cloth.

Sounds like a plan. Give me as much notice as possible so we can make weekend plans. My wife has mentioned quite a few times making it over. We do Myrtle or Charleston a couple times a year so this will give us the push to get to your area. email me at: service@thetablepro.com Robin

If you know your closing date, my wife said we can road trip there for a weekend. Never been but have wanted to go since we moved here in '04. Let me know via email and we can work something out if you wouldn't mind helping me set the slates (won't be bringing my helper along....just my...

I'm in Mooreville and don't travel to the coast.....for work anyway. There is a guy at Fayettville Billiard Supply that I hear does good work. Make sure you request their shop manager. I think his name is Tim but not sure about that.

    Crack in slate

If you find a crack, I think it was Zack (reverand) who posted an ingenious repair method if you want to search for it. He used small steel rods imbedded across the crack (or break) and then Bondo to fill, sand, finish and even used grey slate colored paint to blend. Looked like an incredible...
