    Snugger Shaft!

I had the same thing happen with an old radial pin shaft. I held the shaft vertical, filled the thread cavity with water, and let it stand for a couple of minutes. I dumped out the water and shook the shaft to get out any remaining drops. After letting the cue dry for two days, it was a bit...

    Rail Cloth Tension?

When my new Gold Crown V was set up, the cloth on the rails was not stretched tight enough. As a result, the rails banked very short. After Donny (SDBilliards) recovered it with the proper tension on the rail cloth, it banks perfectly. An experienced, highly-qualified mechanic should be able to...

    Hat tip - SDBilliards

I emphatically agree with the OP. Donny reworked my GC V Tourney Ed.and it went from being a so-so table to a Great Table. Thanks again, Donny.

Top aramith vs top brunswick pool ballls

I have both Aramith Tournament and Brunswick Centennials. The Tournament balls stay clean longer, but I much prefer the way the Centennials play; they seem more "lively". I would definitely recommend the Centennials over the Tournament.

How to Make Your Lizard Sticky

No, I haven't had any need to do that. I do have (somewhere) an old cue that has a pretty slick linen wrap on it. I'll find it and try the spray on it, then I'll let you know how it works.

How to Make Your Lizard Sticky

The wrap is not ruined. It is not affected at all. I can remove this stuff in about one minute and the wrap is exactly as before being sprayed. I guess it was a bad idea to note that this product is made from the same stuff used to make a type of glue; that has caused some confusion. The product...

How to Make Your Lizard Sticky

The substance is dry - not wet or tacky. I have had no problems with the wrap picking up case fuzz, bugs, lint, etc.. The additional grip comes from the many thousands of very small bits of the substance adding a little friction. While it feels sticky, it really isn't. If bugs and stuff stuck...

How to Make Your Lizard Sticky

I've seen several threads asking how to make a slick lizard wrap sticky. I recently picked up a great-playing cue that has a lizard wrap so slick that it's like shooting with an icicle. I use a very light grip and the wrap was so slick that I couldn't use the cue at all. I'll probably get the...

    Radial versus Uniloc Radial

Arnot, I got my first Radial pin cue from you more than ten years ago, and have never found a better pin. However, Uni-Loc does have a registrered trademark on the word "Radial" for pins in cues. Here is the United States Patent and Trademark Office document showing the trade mark registration...

    ? about paypal

I went to the PayPal forum, where a bunch of people have asked about this email. According to the moderators there, it is a valid email. But unless you are using a really old browser, you don't need to do anything - just ignore the email.

    Transaction warning

asbani, If your question is directed to me, I offered to send a check to save the man some money, just as I said in my post. I was in no hurry. I hope everyone understands that my post was a description of a very satisfying transaction, just written in a manner to continue with the sometimes...

    Transaction warning

You have my sympathy, berko, as I recently had a similar experience here. I offered to send a personal check to save the seller some bucks. As soon as my check cleared, he had the nerve to send the cue immediately. As if that wasn't enough to put up with, when I opened the box, I discovered that...
