    What would Jaspers play?

Great shot!, Double chance if you miss the three rail! I would guess that Jaspers would score going 3 rails more often than he would going 5. Just my humble opinion!

    What would Jaspers play?

Jim, Isn't my choice the correct one because that is what I described in my post with more detail and explaining where the red goes for position. I don't want to nitpick but in steve's diagram all three balls are located differently which makes the shot much harder, I'm not sure Dick Jaspers...

    What would Jaspers play?

Deja vu? This appears as the same shot you rendered in the last thread! I think Dick Jaspers would select the shot as I described. Do I win some money? Steve's got it almost right with his scenario!, but I don't think that is the chosen shot!-------------------------------- " shoot straight with...

How would you play this shot?

A short reverse! Use a medium stroke, moderate speed, more of a snap or a limited follow through using right hand english off right of red approx, 1/8th ball to short near corner then long and reverse back to short then to yellow point ball. A good position is acheived when the red rolls...

How would you play this shot?

I would shoot a bank shot! A generous amount of left english { jack up cue slightly, a slight curve before it hits the rail}, just past red to long rail then short, long then short into thin yellow, then straight into or rail into red. target area is larger than you think! By no means is...

Solution to Guessing shot by Bill Smith.

Bill, I think your interpertation is INCORRECT because I stated STRAIGHT into white I didn't say off white around the table. I could have been mores specific in my answer but I still think I should win at least win an honorable mention. Anyway, it's a great shot and you made it as a game...

    Syn-surf III

Gilbert, Yes, this is all about fun but not sliding. Syn-surf 1 was sliding and fun but this new generation 3 is fun and more like playing on heated felt without the heater. It is not a smoothe surface like Syn-surf 1. It plays a bit short but I am working on fixing that issue. Dan b.

    table plays short?

Just about everyone who is a better than average player who I have spoken with claims that a carom table that plays short is not prefered. Does that mean that if a table plays 5% to 10% longer than the average table with fairly new felt and good cushions and is consistent is much better table...
