When setting up, focus on the vertical imaginary centerline of the cue ball. Don't drop your elbow, stroke straight and you're on your way.

Great post, Ken. I agree. My current custom (Dave Jones) player is currently configured with a.. G2 Medium tip, old Micarta ferrule, a Timeless Timber shaft (tapered to 12.4 mm), a flat-faced ivory joint, and with a brass radial pin. It hits and plays beautifully.

I agree. The only thing that I would change is instead of Simonis 860, install 860HR. The difference between them is HUGE.

Glen, Thanks for doing such a wonderful job on my table. You were right... I love how my table (9' Pro Am) plays after you re-calibrated the rails and installed 860HR. It plays like a dream. It's like I have a brand new table all over again. Thanks again, brother. :thumbup:

Glenn and I were just talking about this yesterday. His advice is to use very hot water and Woolite shampoo. Use heavy rubber gloves so you can stand the hot water. You may want to send him a PM to confirm what I just shared with you.
