    Gabriel sub-rail thickness

Ben, Were you able to get the info you were looking for? By the way it was nice talking to you the other day. I did take some measurements off the SAM's I was working on, which is also a P-37 profile with a metal rail, very similar to the Gabriel's. Jay

We did get a Duo-Fast electric staple gun, and a feather strip puller, bit brace, Yankee screw driver and bits, tack hammer and plenty of tacks, carpenters level and all the basics you needed to install and service at least two tables a day, everyday. Why pool table rails are made wrong?

This is the gospel. I use Glen's system all the time, and it's the best I've ever seen period! For thirty plus years I glued and stapled bar rails top and bottom, not any more. 6-8 staples at the ends, glued in between and your done. Jay

T Rail vs Vertical bolt rails

I have found the exact opposite to be true. I find that rails bolted through the slate play better with less thud and a more accurate rebound. The old jumbo frame Brunswick's with 1.5 inch slate and 4 rail bolts per rail were very solid bankers. These are the exception not the rule. As a rule...

    Featherstrip Removal Tool

That was Steve Kelley from Boston Billiards. The feather strip removal tool he was using was designed and first made by Bob Quenneville, The founder of Boston Billiards and our boss at the time, 1974. Steve and I each received one in our tool kits, they were hand ground and fabricated by Bob...

    Gabriel sub-rail thickness

Ben, Are you referring to the new metal rails they are currently producing or the older wooden rail? Gabriels use a 4 face p-37 profile Kleber or Artemis cushion. Since the shelf on the bottom of the liner helps secure the cushion to the liner, you need to allow 32.5 mm from the bottom of the...

Where can I find replacement non-slip tape for Gold Crown feet.

Are you referring to the cork pads on the bottoms of the ball bearing trays, used for adjusting the feet? If so call Brunswick, or visit a home center for cork tiles and spray glue them onto the bottoms of the trays. Jay

Pat, Not from a Sport King. The only one piece molded casting/apron shield from Brunswick was on the "Modern". I couldn't swear to these being Modern parts, but its the only Brunswick that was even similar in design. I could be wrong about the Modern, but they are NOT Sport Kings. Heres a...
