I went with the weldwood contact cement, but im gonna try elmers on the next one. It turned out pretty good for my first wrap. I cut a practice wrap using a cheap leather one i had laying around, and it cut like butter, but this lizard skin was a pain! The blade kept wanting to walk and move...

My African blackwood turned out black as night. To me, it hits as well or better than ebony. The main reason i tried it was because i read that they use it in musical instruments, so i figured it had to have some good tone to it. Joe

I have a similar controller and i thought it went bad. I replaced the controller, and it worked a while, then it started messing up again. Turned out the brushes were worn down. I turned em 180 degrees and its worked ever since. Just a thought. Joe

Ive bought some dowels from them and for the money, im quite impressed. For the most part, if you tell Bill that you want AA or AAA grade, he will send you that or above. His laminated shaft dowels are nice too. Joe
