    New Cue Holder?

Now I have closed that side to show how it collapses and fits in the hole. The other side before twisting the little piece. It has its own little hidey hole. After twisting it Twist the handle in the same direction and shove it down and it is ready to go back into my case. Aren't you...

    New Cue Holder?

Here it is detached from table Putting it back together is the tricky part. Here it is closed with no adjustments yet. Same, but from another view And another view. I am not squeezing, merely holding it together for the picture, otherwise, the wings would flop down I twisted the right...

    New Cue Holder?

Clamped to a table surface. Just push up on the handle then twirl it around a couple times with one finger to tighten it to the table. Cushions are still unextended here. Looking down from the top with the cushions extended. Works on a round table too. With 2 cues, jump cue and bridge...

What can I do to help an up and comer?

LOL, poor Jack! If Chris's talent could be turned to golf at this age, he would probably turn out to be a millionaire. But he definitely loves pool and wants to do everything he can to be the best. Thanks for everyone's thoughts and input.

Which ball do you hit on the break playing 1 pocket?

I start with the cueball about a ball's width from the side rail, 2 diamonds down. I aim between the 1st and 2nd ball with inside english and a medium follow stroke. Whitey goes 2 rails behind the stack so your chipped out balls are protected. It isn't a flashy break but it does loosen up...

    New Cue Holder?

I will take some pics and post. I got it from a guy in Canada that makes them. Someone here wanted one and was able to get one too. They are nifty and I use it for longer tournaments.

Right-handed shooter that's left eye dominant???

I agree. I am the same - right -handed, left eye dominant. When I cut to the left, it is great, but I usually undercut to the right UNLESS I make sure my chin is directly over my cue. I also have mono-vision...a different power contact in my dominant eye to see distance and shorter in my...

    New Cue Holder?

Has anyone tried out the new cue holders made by Ellen Van Buren? Basically, they are a piece of that grippy material we used to use on the shelves of our RV so things wouldn't slide around. I passed by some at the dollar store and one was a really pretty salmon color so I bought it to try...

What can I do to help an up and comer?

Thank you everyone for your help. I have repped everyone down to my last reply but can't do anymore today until I get reloaded. Sarah, I will definitely have him get in touch with you, and Scott, thanks for the info on BCA vs VNEA. You're all angels!

What can I do to help an up and comer?

Yes, that is why I am trying to hook him up with some fellas that can do that for him. Tournaments are harder for him to enter, since he is underage. But he does try to get in the ones even as far away as ours.

What can I do to help an up and comer?

Thank you...it's just that I am about 4 hours away, so not much opportunity to do anything hands on. I am trying to set up some mentoring with good people up north and maybe organize a tournament for juniors and help him raise the cash and chaperone him to Nationals, my schedule permitting.

What can I do to help an up and comer?

Yes, you're right. They have both assured me that his goal now is to enter as many jr. tournaments as possible to get seasoning and he wants to go to nationals. I am going to try to help him get there.

    Prayers needed for Terry Ardeno

Nosocomial infections (an infection obtained in the hospital that he didn't have when he came in) are more common than hospitals like to admit. http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/eid/vol4no3/weinstein.htm I am praying for Terry and his family in his time of suffering. Terry is always there for...

What can I do to help an up and comer?

Thank you both for your help and time. Scott, I will most likely follow up on your plan. Who would I contact to get the Jr. BCA membership kits and to sanction my tournament? I am sorry your mentorship did not find fruition with your young man. You just never know. Holding him accountable...
