I would pick up another player to make a full team. Every APA team, well most, face this problem as handicap rises. Another player could add some versatility to your lineup. It is quite a numbers crunch when you are throwing 2 7's.

I've been thinking this same thing since Marshall has been back. I really think he has the potential and self drive to become known as a top shelf cue maker.

Thanks for the example. Now my point would be if your top shelf and you get destroyed i think it would be VERY disappointing to say it mildly. But if your good enough to play in the open but a 1000-1 shot of winning, I don't think it would be as tough but maybe give you motivation. At least...

I don't think it would kill your will, maybe give you reason to work harder even. Also, there are a lot of variables... what caliber player you are, the way you lost, who you played, the list could go on. I think it would be more damaging to the very elite. I can't even think of an example of...

And to add to that, at least for me, I hardly keep a mental record of good rolls. In fact, I can't remember the last one. Not that there hasn't been one, but like said above you expect that desired outcome. But I think we do tend to keep a note of bad rolls or let it linger in the brain. I know...
