I got one for Christmas last year plus a set of Aramiths. Do you want to take a guess as to how heavy that is with balls plus 2 cues. The case is heavy duty as well.

I said no f/n way am I carrying that up and down the stairs to the pool hall.
(Ok, I said that to myself as it was Christmas morning and I didn't want to sound like an ingrate)
Luckily for me, the case was damaged and had to be returned, I didn't get a replacement.
The wife bought me another cue lathe instead.

I have always said a man can't have to many cue lathes.

One of the items available to me that I choose not to display on my website. I think the comments in the thread justify that decision....

I like this one MUCH better!!!

WAY Better, IMO. Get ALL the details at www.delta-13.com

The aluminum veneer is very thin, paper thin. Its tucked and glued under the edges but not very well. Only a fraction of an inch. Thats what was wrong with mine. The aluminum veneer buckled and pulled itself out from under the edge. I would think it would be only a matter of time before the case started to come apart.

The balls sit very deep in the foam padding. Theres not much room between
each ball and you have to dig deep with your fingers to pry the balls out.
I have very small hands and it was difficult for me, so think of how much of a chore it might be for a guy with larger hands and fingers.

Theres only so much digging and prying that the foam will withstand before it starts either stretch or disintegrate.

Great idea, but not very functional in the long run. If the pool hall you frequent has crappy balls, you'd be better off to buy a custom ball case from Roger Taft.

Does anyone own one here?

Is it possible to make it into a 3x6 and just hold 2 balls?

I think that would be ideal!

You think that's heavy ?
I have a 5x10 with two sleeves on the outside - each sleeve holds 8 balls .
But at least it has wheels !
Usta be my carry-on before TSA changed the rules after 9/11 . . .
