After all, with his age and not too many years left to compete against the younger talent emerging and this huge field of world crushers.
Who here would love to see Efren win the u.s. open ?
I KNOW I WOULD.:grin:
 
I, personally, would rather see an "underdog", a complete unknown, take this down. It'd be more fun that way.

Well, I was gonna equate the original question with asking the AZB folk: who wants to play pool today?...we all want the King to hold his throne!

But you threw me off, what are you, krazymon?!
 
With all the accolades and titles Efren Reyes has won over the years. Which would mean more to him, winning the US Open, or gambling money in the back room at Q Masters?
 
I would love to see Efren play and win that. I love watching him play, his position play is what makes me love this game!
 
Sure I would love to see him win it. I have a list of about a half dozen others too though.
 
I wouldn't mind seeing Efren win it...

However, I'd rather see, Chip Klein, Demetrius Gelatis (aka Tinman), or Max Eberle win it, just because that's who I'd want to see win it...

Few people are going to root against Efren but the guy is not exactly a darkhorse and he has not exactly been out of the scene or been out of contention in the recent past. Efren winning it would not be a surprise, he is one of the 25 or so guys in the event that have a solid chance.

I would personally like to see Sigel take it down just because the guy has been absent for so long and I would like to see him have a few years of a flashback at this tail end of his career where we might get to see him get back the confidence and ability to win that he had before.

Sigel winning would change things up abit and stir some interest into the sport. Efren winning would be just another recent W for the legend to go along with winning challenge matches, winning DCC titles, and being a contender in every event he plays in and would not really set any ripples.
 
I love Efren! It would be good to see him win the 2010 US Open.
Van-Van Corteza is on the top of his game.
I'm betting that The Slayer will win the 2010 US Open...

I'm picking Bustamante over Lo Li Wen in the finals. Bustamante is at the top of his game right now (has he ever been mediocre?), and he is due for a US Open win. But that guy from Taiwan is very formidable. The Taiwanese play just as good as any of the top Filipinos.
