Playing to the level of competition?

Playing to the level of competition?

I don't think you sound like a jerk Jallan, I think that is a good mindset to have in a competitive environment. Its nothing personal, you just know they shouldnt be on your level on the table. I think your right with a lot of it beig in your head.

CTE User Stevie Moore on TAR now

I understand what your saying. But I also think its natural to root for someone that does/endorses something you do. IE, root for a motorcycle driver that rides the same brand of bike you do for example.

CTE User Stevie Moore on TAR now

Stan said it best when he mentioned more variables then just aiming. I mean come on, its a pretty silly arguement to base an entire match on the way someone is aiming. I am not a skilled enough player to analyze the ends and outs of what it takes to win at a pro level or even profess I have...

Playing to the level of competition?

I know this has probably been covered. But this is by biggest and most frustrating downfall. Maybe it can be contributed to lack of consistency. I play with high skill level players on Friday and Saturday and I play very competitively... sure, they may take a few more games than I get but I...

    The HAMB system of aiming

Is hamb really an aimin system, or a practice method? That is a considerable difference. How about using CTE to hit a million balls lol.

Why not a "bounty" format in pool

I'm sure the "kids" are happy someone of your caliper (I assume very impressive) is not playin in the tourney against them.

    now i get it!

Umm... football, basketball, swiming, volleyball, indoor soccer, collegiate wrestling, and many more all indoors. Also, cow tipping is a myth. Cows sleep laying down.

    Annoucing the True Rack

This looks like a high quality item and personally I think it looks easy to use. However, on my home table I would use a different, 3 sided rack but would desire this for going to the bar/hall/league. For that alone, even appreciating high quality goods, I would not be willing to spend $130. I...

    Scorpion Cues = bad rep

Scorpion is a 3/8x14, right? Isn't this the same as Cuetec? I seen on Seyberts they have them in 3/8x14 Cuetec.

    Scorpion Cues = bad rep

    Thoughts on wearing an ipod

Haha props to that! Pretty hard to take "most" of them seriously. Sure, there might be one or two that can actually shoot but for the most part they are not worth taking seriously. I think there ok to warm up in or whatever and get in the mood, but you need to focus on shooting not whats in your...

    Slippery cloth

This sounds like what I played on last Wednesday, absolutely miserable. I rolled in a stop shot and had to use a power draw stroke that looked like I was trying to draw it two rails just to get it to come back a little.

In Case You Missed It, This is a Great Deal

Wow I'm actually ahead of the game on this one. I ordered them probably a month or so ago. Even without some commentary its an absolute steal. I'd probably buy 5 dvd's of anything pool related for that price!
