    Mottey thread size question

Most Motteys I have seen (and owned) have had a 5/16-14 thread. A 5/16-18 is a very fine thread (aka Meucci). Post a pic and I am sure you will get the correct answer.

    Derby City 2012

Thanks...... I think.:embarrassed2::confused: Although I hate to admit it, Cleary is right. I work 6 days a week and don't go out and play anywhere more than once a month, if that. I have been known to play OK at times and then I lose to someone that can't spell pool. I am not totally crippled...

    Derby City 2012

Russ, I figured you saw my post earlier but you might have missed it. Do you want to play some at Derby? We don't have to play high, we can play some $100 sets or something.

    Derby City 2012

Well Russ, being a fellow bad player I will try to accomodate you in your quest for pool action. Me and my 278 dollar bankroll will be there the last few days of the event, that should give you some time to spool up. I will try you some 9 or 10 ball so we can get the real feel of Derby action...

While we are discussing this I am curious about a couple of other things as well: What city has the most beautiful women? What is the best car? Carry on with the "powerful cue" discussion......

    Is Andy Gilbert M.I.A. ?

I imagine he is fine. Sometimes Andy can be hard to get in touch with but he usually resurfaces in a few days. He and Vicky may be away for the holidays, try to get in touch with him later this week or after the 1st.

    TAR and DCC

And little Randy Vaughn on the left.....:o Any 2 people that make Justin look "smallish" by comparison are some pretty good sized fellers.

    TAR and DCC

I know it was a tough deal for you the way it has been set up and I totally see why you are not gonna put yourself through it again. I will definitely miss having you set up because it is one of the highlights of Derby for me but if I had to deal with your end of it I would have thrown in the...

anyone knows what Brunswick this is?

The rails are probably hard as a rock if they are original and the pockets are pretty big (small shelf, beveled slate). These were produced for residential use and are not as sturdy as the commercial models. I have one of these in an 8 ft model and after having Glen (RKC) redo it the table...

Show Me Your Rick Howards For Sale Please....

I have had a few of Rick's cues and I have to say they are great playing instruments. I had Rick's personal cue that he used for a while (no sig) and 1 of 4 he made just like George's cue. I wish I still had the ones I sold and if I find another one reasonable I will definitely pick it up, they...
