Glad to hear this, and that you're feeling good. I can certainly relate. I went to the ER 4 1/2 years ago and left with 3 stents in my heart. Had 2 arteries blocked 90%. Doctor said I didn't have a heart attack, but that I would have soon, if I hadn't come in when I did. I've felt great ever since.

I picked up a Players sneaky for $59, to leave at the neighborhood bar I frequent, since the bar has such crappy house cues. Once I got a good hard Triangle tip on it, and cut the weight bolt down to get it to the weight I liked, it plays about as good as I could ask. And I don't worry about...

With a high run of 300+ and what sounds like multiple runs in the high 200s, you're playing world-class straight pool already. But kudos on wanting to learn more. Good luck.

I'd be all over this if I didn't already have a Carmeli I love. This cue is a beauty.

That is a very striking piece of workmanship. Clean and subtle. A real beauty.

I go from a 9' at home, to barboxes every week in league. The one thought I keep in mind on the barbox is "dial back your stroke." You have to keep whitey on a bit tighter leash on the smaller track.

This stuff is the nuts. The picture is small, but it's called Bees Wax Furniture Polish. It is also great on the walnut rails, and even the aluminum castings, on my Anniversay table.
