    Best Playing Cue Builder

I did see a road guy who played real sporty with a beer logo cue, here in Ohio, back around 2005, I made a couple of comments off to the side about the cue, and he said he was Tascarellas nephew, and he had made it for him.

The Ten Greatest Players Of All Time

The fact that Nobody beat De Oro at straight pool or billiards for 20 years should automatically get him on any list. Most people look at the record books and see other peoples names in those years , what they don't realize is that they did not beat him for the title he was not allowed to have...

Private pool club - how many members for a 6 table club?

I think the guy who started this thread surrendered, maybe we should too. I have been the kiss of death to many a thread, so I will do my utmost here. Yes, you can make a meager living out of owning a pool room, people do it, but there is one huge thing to think about. If you have a 10,000...

    Are four-piece cues old?

I actually love mine, of course I only paid about 5 dollars or less at a yard sale for it ,but it was fun pulling it out in a strange pool room and beating people with it. Just don't bet the rent money on a long draw shot but hey, I might miss that shot with any cue.

    Brunswick Spectator Chair. ESV?

I found several at auction houses , they all say they are original Brunswick chairs ? They made several similar styles , but most of the ones I found, were exact matches , some with logos smaller and some probably worn off. There were no prices or estimates I did a search for Brunswick pool...

    Jump Record?

The longest one I ever heard of was one of the Navarro brothers Juan or Ezekiel, they jumped a ball off the table, through the poolroom, down the stairs coming up from the street, and made a billiard on a ball in the doorway of the pool room! Nice shot! I think it was in the 1940s.

I am in the same place as Jimmyco. It is just an old chair, , with a repro Brunswick decal on it , I believe I have seen an original Brunswick bench with the decal on the wood backrest on the sitting side , The bench had a full length 8 foot leather cushion, it was made to be sat up against a...

No, I'm positive it was a Meucci, it was all black and had the name on the butt It was a great cue, I bought or traded for 5 more over the next 20 years, all of those had a reverberation in them , The last one I realized I was jumping up on every shot anticipating the boing and I never used them...

Your 1st Cue, 30 Years Later

I looked on Wikipedia and it said Meucci cues was started in 1975, I am positive I bought an all black one, either in summer 1968 before the Army , or in 72 but right after, it was not 1975. I had gone to California and was playing with a Tad with the most beautiful birdseyes in it I have ever...
