Stefano Pelinga"s New Book Bringing The House Down

Wondering who else has had the time to read this book? Just finished a couple weeks ago. Gotta say, really enjoyed it! Was surprised by the amount of information, and diagrammed shots. Also his life story was very interesting. I expected the diagrams of trick shots, but not the thorough...

    Techno Dud

Try the carbon edged blades, and yes, wet the sides of the tip. Might be over kill, but I've never had an issue with what you're describing. Also, lathe speed 12 to 1500 with razor knife.

Is Schmidt's and charlie 626 Legit

Yes, I think his claim is legit. I haven't seen the video, but have good friends that did. I know you guys have a long standing beef, but again... I think John has a legit claim to the record. It has been viewed, and confirmed, has it not? Tell me, what am I missing here?

Kamui Clear Black - mis cue

Try cutting one entire layer off, and re shape. Take care to not get any wax or grease on tip while dressing the sides. Could be a bad tip too. It happens, but not often.

    Fair price for tip replacement?

Happens from time to time. Any tip my customer supplies is a $15.00 install. And yes, you must clean the ferrule first, or you'll get permanent chalk stains where the glue touches the ferrule. Also, as someone else said above, we are responsible for the glue bond only. I have no idea where this...

    SOFT Tip thats stays soft

Have you tried the Tech No dud by Outsville Billiards. I find it feels soft and holds it's shape well. Make sure to tell your installer to use a carbon edged blade and dampen the sides of the tip before trimming to cut down on heat.

Yeah, I can't argue with ya. I too think it's been too long, and can only hope they correct this soon. Really like their proto-type. Would be a shame if it doesn't come to fruition. Hoping to post good news someday. Sorry if I let y'all down with my optimism.

    420 Scotchweld

Anybody have to replace a joint pin that has been installed with the Scotchweld 420? I've had two of them recently. It doesn't seem to break down as easy as epoxy with heat. Both took a couple reheats to get the job done.

    Triangle and Triumph Tips

The lock down of Britain is keeping material from getting to the factory. Also having to ship by boat instead of air has driven up their cost like 400%. What a year...
