Oh boy this cue is my style!!!!!

Hello all, After 11 months of cuelessness (it is even worse than the word itself) - owning a Mottey for a week meanwhile - the time has come again for me to get back and play some pool! :) I purchased the cue below from HouseMan / Bryan and I must confess that it has been the very-very best...

Happy Belated B-Day To Myself.......My First Gus Szamboti With A Fellini

That is one very-very fantastic cue!!! My 26th is 5 and a half years away and it is a must for me to treat myself as good as you just did! :) It is weird how you can tell it is a Szamboti forearm after you have seen it live, there is nothing like it, not even on photos... somehow the portions...

    Tascarella, Scruggs, Bender, Hercek

I do believe it is worth that much and you can also pay up front full for the maker. He has the full price and you won't have to pay 8-years inflation in the end. But when you get the cue - considering that the market has not changed on (for e.g.) Hercek cues -, the cue you ordered must be worth...

    Tascarella, Scruggs, Bender, Hercek

I would get a Hercek and nothing else. My reasoning would be the availability of the other cues, like Tascarellas, they must be great but you can see one being posted every second or third week and you can always get ahold of one if you are looking for it. The same goes for the two other makers...

FS: Tulipwood 16 point James White

Nice cue, nice guy, nice price - you just can't go wrong here. Best of luck for you!

    Cue collectors

As I hang out a lot here and at other sites as a spectator I have seen a few cues just wondering around, not many, you don't see 15k cues being flipped as often as 2-4 thousand cues... But still, I can tell cues' value most of the time and it is so much fun to see some making sales and others...

    Interesting Early Joss Box Cue

To me, personally, box cues belong to a very-very close group of cues that show the real class that one good maker / designer can gain from a cue, using it as a canvas. What I mean is that when I saw that picture of the cue's butt sleeve hanging out of that case, it was everything I look for in...

    FS - Brand New SugarTree

I really-really like the new macro-rings, and truth to be told, Eric's cues deserve all the credit they get. This should make a good player for anyone. Good luck,

    ED Prewitt contact

Martin has listed many-many super nice Prewitt cues over the years and no one has ever had bad a bad experience with him. Considering that you won't pay a penny extra and maybe you can save a time, I frankly recommend getting in touch with him. Best Regards, David

PAUL MOTTEY HOPPE CUE ...... Brazilian Cherry

Considering that the cue was built in 2002, it's just fun to see that after making some of the nicest cues Paul still managed to reach back and pull this design out. I think that after a given limit of intricacy the sheer ingeniousity can be seen when it's presented in a pure and simple way. Oh...

Jay Helfert keeping me awake at night

...and this book makes the subway fly with me and the long 40 minute ride feels like as if it was only a 2 minute stop... I am not finished with it yet, I am at the 104th page or somewhere there, I am the point where I leave it for the Sun and give it water hoping that it would grow a couple...

    <$$$> Kikel 20th Anniversary Cues <$$$>

These really are beautiful. Most importantly - imo -, Dave managed to put together a design that faithfully conjures up all his previous designs, therefore making these cues authentic Kikel's. Good luck with the sales, I personally always admired Dave's work.

Looking for palindrome designed cues by Mike Bender

This would mean that I have only been partly correct, I could feel there was something 'more' to the Schick palindromes. Thank you for clearing this up, I didn't mean to mislead anyone. Appreciated,

Looking for palindrome designed cues by Mike Bender

The term used for this in the cue world is Chicago-style, if I am not mistaken, and its originator is Bill Schick. There is a 20 point bender on here for sale, it is in 85% condition if I remember correctly, but who knows, maybe you could have it restored. If that's no good, then best of luck...

Tim Scruggs Cue Hoppie old school!

A Tim Scruggs Hoppe is always a nice thing to look at, but when it has 6 veneers... now that's something extra! :)

Over-priced Cues - your opinion please!

My opinion... Generally speaking (not about cues but anything), the craftsman getting $2,600 has done something BETTER than the other one. Either he makes a better product, or he made good business decisions. It's no doubt that with today's equipment and available knowledge it is not too...

classic rosewood 4 pointer in the works...

I love the traditional veneer colours, and I love rosewood-on-rosewood cues. Actually, ebony and rw forearm cues come first, before BEM ones - but that's just for me, maybe. Please do share some pics of the wood you are using for the rw forearm cue as well - yet the one in this one is awesome...

    Post your Art Cantando cues

Here are the pictures, I found two, luckily I could get the sister cue of Tikkler's AC out by zooming into a pic, the picture is fine, but it won't do any justice to the cue, though, it is incredibly beautiful.. The other picture is of the two other cues, all three were superb. Rest in...

World class Vollmer player Price Drop phase!!!

Petros, This is getting to hurt me... bad. Real bad. Have you tried selling it to Germany by any chance? Maybe they would be a little more into this cue as they have more experience with the maker. Anyhow, I wish that you can sell the cue soon!! P.S.: just a question: is the forearm grey, by...
