Best tip for carbon fiber and why

So I can only go by the Cuetec as all the others I played with had stock tips, but I have finally settled on a kamui black soft. I went through several mediums. Kitech, Ultraskins, to name a few before I decided to try a soft. For some reason I was always told to use a medium on carbon fiber...

What to do? Cuetec Cynergy or Jacoby BlaCK?

Both are great. The one quick difference I like is if you go with cuetec, extensions are readily available and in several configurations. I ended up with a predator butt with extensions and cuetec shafts. I like a little longer cue but I also have the 12" extension for those long reach shots.

Is it time to shut down AZB's NPR Sub-Forum

No leave them there and don't let them know about the other forums. Most of them need a romper room to blow off steam and if not, they will start bringing their weirdness out here into the real world.

THIS WEEKEND-SCOTT FROST VS FEDOR GORST-ONE POCKET-$20K IN THE MIDDLE-OMEGABILLIARDS.COM

This should be a great match in a somewhat new venue, Railyard Billiards (formerly Diamonds, then Jillians before that). Brand new Diamond 9 footers and a lot of 7 footers to boot. A management team that cares about the game first and the rest second should make it a great venue. Already started...

    Springfield Cues CF shaft reviews?

Wish I had seen this a few weeks ago before I purchased another high dollar spare shaft from a high dollar manufacturer. But anyway, I checked through your website and liked what I saw but did have a few questions. 1. What is the tip diameter of the break shaft? Is it also available in 30"...

Which one is smoother between these two (WITHOUT GLOVES) Revo or Cynergy

I own the Cuetec but did try both without a glove before I actually bought one and honestly couldn't tell the difference.

So many different colors in ball sets

I would rather play with a classic colored set. With that being said, I mainly practice with a TV set, or skittles as they are lovingly referred to. Makes it easier to play with whatever is on the table wherever I go.

    Shane carries ten shafts !

He probably learned to carry that many from Earl. Back in the day the Pearl carried a bunch but it was probably because he was likely to break one or two if he got upset. Honestly, with all the international travel he does for months at a time, who could blame him? I would definitely rather be...

How many of you practice "Safe" shots? I do this once a week. Robin gave me practice pages.

I practice safes every time I play 1 pocket.

    Break cues-a discussion-comments welcome

I know guys that are totally terrible at golf but they still own all the clubs. Why should it be different in pool?

Realistically, what should promoters focus on when it comes to pro pool?

Unification. Unite the players, get a tour, crown a champion(s) in the end. Have a WORLD CHAMPION that means something as the payoff. Just my opinion but it's easier to sell merchandise/name/image/likeness for a toured champion. Ask the NFL, NBA or even the NCAA.

    Ultraskin update....

I use it on a break cue. Love it. Honestly I think it's too hard for a playing cue.
