    curving an object ball....

Nice shot John and thanks for posting. I've seen the object ball take a very big bend but only on straight back banks. Seen it curve about three or four inches. Very noticeable on this video.

    Mark Gregory Ruined my table!!!

I believe the Centennials did not have the polished aluminum skirts from the factory. They were painted a grayish color. After the paint was removed most table owners polished the aluminum to a high luster. When polished, they will remain so, as long as they are kept out of the weather...

    Why 8 Ball ?

Nine ball tells you what to do. In eight ball you tell it what you want to do.

    Whats the call????

Ok, no foul, the ball is considered pocketed, and it's still on the table, That means the shooter continues shooting. Good thing he got position on the ball he just pocketed.

    Whats the call????

I believe it's considered as not pocketed because there was no outside help for it to be back on the playing surface. Definitely not considered a foul.

Is everyone familiar with Kent Davis Custom Cues?

Kent will not let a cue go out until he personally tries it out. He came over to my house yesterday to test out one that is ready to be mailed out. Whoever gets that cue will be elated to have it. What a beauty it was and played as good as it looked. I know from personal experience that while...

Rules Question - Last Pocket 8-ball

I would think that this is the correct answer. His turn and he continues to shoot. Pretty much like when playing one pocket, if you pocket your game winning ball along with also pocketing your opponents game winning ball at the same time even if his ball went in first, you win. This is a...

staying at the table after shooting a safety

Seems like I read somewhere that it's still your table until five seconds has passed after the last ball stops rolling. Say a ball lays in the lip of the pocket it's still your turn if it falls within five seconds after it stops rolling. After those five seconds it then is put back at the lip of...

How good were Cole Dickson and Mark Tadd?

I wouldn't stake either one against the other when they were at their best but Keith has the longer track record playing top notch for many years. Mark not so much. I played Keith just before he hit his high gear.

How good were Cole Dickson and Mark Tadd?

I played them both at their best and I give the nod to Tademy as the better of the two. Although Cole was scary good but still a coupe of notches below Keith.. Mark played as good as anyone except maybe Earl.

    Cues in Cars

A good number of years back a friend of mine drove down from Alaska to visit. While he was here we went to a pro tournament in Burbank Ca. They raffled out a Ginacue and he won it. He drove back to Wasilla, Alaska and left the cue in the trunk of his call all winter. I don't know what kind of...
