Everyone has their own agenda for joining a league. when I join a team its usually to meet people and have fun and of course the competition. I will play in tourneys if I want some serious pool or hook up with some better players occasionally. I try to stay out of the politics of pool leagues...

Brass Tap in Raleigh usually has some action during the daytime. I moved from this area a year and half ago and I understand that a room opened in Hillsborough. The owner had a room in Durham where there was usually day action.

one of the shortcomings of UPS is they actually deliver the damaged item whereas fedex and perhaps ups send the damaged goods back to the shipper so the customer never sees it.

YES and insuring the contents is a good idea if you want USPS to pay for damages.
