    Q wax Try a little Q Wax (Carnauba Wax) Muellers catalog. Put a little of the wax on a paper towel- rub on the pin threads- put cue together - back off- may need to repeat process. The wood threads in the shaft expand - need alittle lubricant. Works for me! later, sax
