I like to fill up any holes in a cue with anything other than glue or air. Although it looks like a better design by my previous statement, I can not say the modified pin give any better structural integrity. Looks can be deceiving. My 2 cents, Alan

If your not set up for it, stay away from automotive clear coats. They are probably the best for a hard, shiny and durable finish. They will also kill you without the proper protection. Just my thoughts, Alan
