    QClaw cue holder

Cue Claw If you have any respect for your valuable tools (Your cues), you should invest in this simple but wonderful item. I only wish I had invened it, every player should have one. I started with the black two cue claw for my player & break cues, which I customized with my initial on it...

    Brainwash drill

Joe Tucker covers this drill very well in his "Guaranteed Improvement" workbook & video. In his version, the cue ball can't hit a rail and no combo's (or Caroms) are permitted.

    Masters Chalk

 Another vote for Master chalk in Tan (Brown?). I carry my own chalker with me all the time and always have a back up or two in my case. I use this color for many reasons, but mainly because my home table is a tan/camel color, the fact that it doesn't discolor my shafts is also a big plus.

    Chalk, Glove or Nothing?

I ordered the Finger Slides from Nancy of Cue-Z C.T.C. on Monday late afternoon, she took my size put in the order, made them up & sent them out on Weds. I got my Finger Slides from Nancy on Thursday. I stayed up late that night to try them out on my table Thursday night, and used one of my...

    Chalk, Glove or Nothing?

I generally don't use anything. Occasionally a little biillard talc that I keep in my Cueshark tool, it dispenses a very small amount at a time, so no mess. I just ordered the Finger Slides from Nancy and am anxiously waiting to use them. Not for the reasons that most players do though. My hands...

    Excalibur 1x1 Fabric Soft Case

I don't want to offend you, but a bag like that should sell for around $5- $10 at best, most people on this site are more into high end cases it seems, and if they wanted an inexpensive 1/1 case they could find a very cheap one online for less than that. Now if you are willing to throw it in...

    Funny Original Sayings

Classic This one never seems to get old; When someone accidentally moves a ball on the table and goes to replace it where they think it was before they hit it, you say innocently "Put it anywhere you want..." Absolute gold.

    Cutting a ball backwards

90 degrees can definitly be done with some outside English to offset the friction and isn't too hard to do. You can go more than 90 degrees if you can effectively execute a jump shot as described in one of Roberts Byrnes' books, but it is extremely difficult.

Should i or should i not play with my palmer?

That is indeed a Palmer, I have the exact same one. Bought it new at Palmer Video rental/Billiard Lounge in Elizabeth NJ after I got out of the Marine Corps in the early-mid 80's. It is a very cool case!

Should i or should i not play with my palmer?

I agree with the rest of the post responses. PLAY IT well!!! I have a Model D that I bought from another league player 25 years ago, I started playing APA league in July, and played the first 2 seasons with it. It plays well and I had a local cue maker make up a new laminated shft with matching...

    Jumping

I also have a Cuetec Jump/Break stick, I now only use it to break with as the weight is too heavy to effectively jump less than 12", which is the length of the shortened Butt of the cue. A freind that is an excellent jumper/player showed me that even he couldn't do it with my cue and told me it...

    Need help on used Meucci

I paid twice the amount you said you would pay for it. I gave him my word when I first examined/played this cue, and I am a man of my word. I feel good about my purchase. I can't wait to get my new shaft made by Mike Erwin, I spoke with him yesterday as per SUN526 suggested. I used my red dot...
