    Mosconi Cup USA Team

Well said. I'd rather see Buddy Hall play than to put Earl on and have all the drama that comes with him.

    Mosconi Cup USA Team

Let Buddy Hall play......he's got nerves of steel from many years of experience and who's won more high stakes matches than Buddy. Earl brings too much baggage to the team and everyone knows it's only a matter of time before he goes off about something.

I like to go home empty handed....

Peter, you have excellent taste in cues and i'd be a happy pool player with any of these fine cues! The fancy Tascarella is my favorite if for no other reason than I like the way it looks and I don't mean to take anything away from the other fine cues.

Mottey, Ebony with Ivory Boxes FS

This is a rare Mottey cue and Paul isn't building any more. It looks like a good investment.

    Get a NEW BLACK BOAR...around $6,000

In reference to your statement above I will agree with you, but I doubt that any of the black boar owners you are referring to paid $6K for a plain cue with no points, no inlays, and no trim rings.

FS Bob Runde Ivory Pointed 1 of 1 Cue

Runde cue This is one of my favorite Runde cues that i've seen. Would you be interested in a trade plus cash?

Places to play in Charleston SC

Good Pool Rooms? Charleston doesn't have a nice pool room with good tables. The people who have businesses with pool tables cater to the APA to make money and they don't care about good players or having big tournaments. Shannon Daulton had a few 9 ball tournaments on bar tables here and I...

I Bought the Bob Frey Jury being called back in to deliberate

Are you sure he's a new guy? He's signed up under 3cushionwannabe within the last 8 days with 15 total posts and he sounds like the guy you had the bad deal with to me. I'm not sure he's not Forumghost516 with another ID since he's trashed Forumghost516 on this forum.

    Public Apology

I agree. It sounds like Mully was trying to add to his cue collection based on a promised bonus on his job. His intention wasn't to get rid of one of his cues to buy another one and when the bonus fell through he had to back out of the deal. I think he did the right thing coming forward...

Isnt This The Wanted/forsale Section ??

Wanted/For Sale? I don't post a lot, but I like to read what's going on and I see threads come up in the Wanted/For Sale section often that I don't think should be in here and sometimes the person who started the thread will apologize for putting it there to begin with. I have a couple of...

    Bunjee Jump/Break cue, rare wood

This wood is reddish in color like cocobola and i'd bet money that it's not Bocote. Bocote is more of a brown color if i'm not mistaken.

    Pad between ferrule and tip

Fiber pads Yes. I definately wouldn't put a pad on a break cue! Fiber pads behind cue tips original purpose was to protect ivory ferrules from cracking when the cue tip was worn down on the edges and it wouldn't serve any purpose on your break cue other than softening the hit, which isn't...

The Greatest 10 Ball Run Ever! Parica vs. Archer

That video proves the old saying "it ain't over till it's over!". I know Johnny Archer thought he was coming back to the table before some of those shots, but it didn't happen. Jose is a great player especially for his age. Thanks for the link to the video.

    Help With Paypal

    Mitch Lawrence

Jay, I've tried to watch the WPBA on ESPN and I just can't sit and watch the match when the crowd applauds after every shot. A player can shoot a straight in 3 foot shot and the crowd claps like they just won the match. I can't take it so I just don't watch it. I can see an applause for a...
