    First Annual Tad Cup USA

Result: Nolan Simiano defeated Arthur Garcia 7-6 in the finals. He remained undefeated through the duration of the tournament (true double elimination). As for not letting A-players play, this was decided upon last year since the format of the TadCup in both Japan and Taiwan only allow amateurs...

    First Annual Tad Cup USA

If anybody has got questions regarding this, call or e-mail me directly. I can already foresee the possible headaches, but when I was approached to do this tournament, it was my understanding that this is basically an experimental thing that is going to happen EVERY YEAR and the only hard part...

Hard Times Billiards is hosting the first annual Tad Cup USA on the weekend of September 4th and 5th. $10,000 Guaranteed Prize Fund and Manny Pacquiao - Hard Times Bellflower

Roberto Gomez ended up winning, with Mark Haddad as second and Oscar Dominguez as third. As you may have heard, this tournament almost did not happen. The organizers failed to inform me, the house, and most importantly the players that the sponsored money did not come through at the last minute...

Hard Times Bellflower New Tourney Schedule

Yes. Tables 1,2,6, and 7 are open throughout the the day for use. I was hoping with the field upped I could use at least 2 and 7, if not all 4, for a little while, then take them out of rotation in the middle of the day, opening them back up for use, but that doesn't seem likely.

Hard Times Bellflower New Tourney Schedule

With the new management in place, the very first post in this thread has been re-edited to reflect the changes made to the tournament schedule. Most notably, the First Sunday will go back to a 96-man field, with $30 entry and $800 added. Although I prefer the previous 64-man format due to time...

Hard Times Bellflower New Tourney Schedule

I like the new format. It's not a grueling slog fest like it used to be, where players would be waiting for HOURS between matches. Payouts were better than before, and I can pay 1/4 of the field, instead of 1/5 the field like before. I did not get one comment that someone wanted the old format...

    Tim Scruggs FS

Thanks Nick. I suppose the other Scruggs for sale that are cheaper might be a better buy at this time, but you pay for what you want. I think it did sell for about $2000 or something new, but there's supposedly like a 2 year waiting list. That's if you can get on it. If Tim doesn't decide to...
