PACMANIA OPEN 9-BALL TOURNAMENT
Did that get your attention? Got nothing to do on Halloween? Well if you haven't heard already, here's the official announcement on behalf of Hard Times Bellflower. The flyers are available at Hard Times in Bellflower. MPDA, Pacman Productions, and Manny Pacquiao will be presenting a $10,000 guaranteed total prize fund 2-Day 9-Ball Tournament. Some coverage will be provided by ESPN.
Format:
2-Days: October 31st (HALLOWEEN!) to November 1st.
Final Registration/Check-in on October 31st @10am.
Championship rounds will be on Sunday Nov 1st @12pm.
Texas Express Rules.
96-Man entry cap.
Double Elimination 9-ball Race to 7 on both sides.
Tournament Champion will go head to head with Pacquiao himself (on the table, not the ring). Part of the proceeds will go to Manny's charity of choice.
Costs:
$100 entry fee before October 25th, 2009. (Entry forms available at Hard Times)
$125 Day of event.
$10 Cover charge for spectators.
Payouts will most likely be out to 16 places, I expect first to be about $3000.
With Special Guest Invites:
Francisco "Django" Bustamante
Efren "Bata" Reyes
Jose "Amang" Parica

I also expect recent TAR16 match winner Oscar "Insert cool nickname here" Dominguez to show up, as well as 2007 World Pool Championship Runner-up Roberto "Superman" Gomez.
No masks are allowed inside the room.
EDIT: I was recently notified by Corey Harper that because of PACMANIA happening on the First Sunday, and we were to give a trip away to the Mosconi Cup, we've effectively MOVED the First Sunday to the weekend of November the 7-8th to do this ($200 added One Pocket on Saturday, $800 added 9-ball on Sunday). Please view Corey's post for more information: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=158910
What this means is that for 2 weekends, Hard Times Bellflower will be hosting some good stuff for the enjoyment of all. We're hosting Manny Pacquiao one weekend, then following it up the next weekend by giving away a trip to the Mosconi Cup! In order to be eligible for the Mosconi Cup giveaway prize, you HAVE to sign up for the 9-Ball Tournament on November the 8th!
