Just want let AZ'ers know of the great service I received from Darrin Hill. I sent my DH cue to Darrin for a minor repair and not only did he do an excellent repair, he cleaned and waxed the shaft, polished the butt and cleaned the stacked leather wrap, all at no charge to me. I had the cue back...
So I'm screwing my cue together and I notice that when the shaft and butt snugged up I could still turn the shaft. I only did this for about a half turn. I think the pin is being drawn out of the butt as long as there is space in the shaft.
