Danny Stout 8 Point (4 High/4 Low) Cue with Covered Wrap 1995

I bought this cue in 1995 from Billiards and Bagels in Gresham, OR in the spring of 1995. I had it sent back to Danny Stout to refinish over the wrap as I was used to a Meucci. I played with it a few times but mostly kept it in a case. It rolls straight and weighs 20.0 ounces with a 3.20mm...

Things you don't like in cues...

    1. Sugar marks or any other imperfections in the shaft that are visible while aiming. 2. Floating points 3. Big rounded radius inlays 4. anything green or blue unless it is a dyed veneer (turquoise, malachite, etc.) 5. Gothic looking crap. Not a big fan of most of the floating Cognoscenti style...

    Is anything sacred any more?

There is virtually no product that we as consumers buy that does not cost significantly more than its raw materials. Take a car, from $15k to $150k, if you broke it down to just the cost of steel, aluminum, plastics, leather, rubber, etc. the cost I am sure for most is less than $1k...
