I would agree with this change. Not only would it help the stronger players, but it would make the groups even more equal for the second round and onwards.

Efren is perfect to be the King of the Hill, he's known as probably the greatest all-round pool player in our times, not only that, but he won the last KOTH, so it only makes sense for him to be the one to beat as the top money earner this year.

Speaking to an IPT member, i have been told that next years schedule will be reduced to six tournaments, which is a real shame, but i suppose we should of seen it coming. I doubted before it would be 100k guaranteed for next year, and now even more so. I wish they would keep to what they say...

I agree Holly, there's no reason in pool to stop men playing women, if we want to see who the best is, we've got to let everybody, man or woman, any age to compete. This is one of the visions i really like about the IPT. @cuechick, check my post in the Hohmann topic.

I think you mis-interpret what i said. I realise there are a few women who can give any man a game, such as A.Fisher, Corr, Ouschan. I reckon the big disadvantage for these women is the break. The break alone, not skill, is why i find it surprising that LJJ for example managed to run 5 racks...

They've used the same system that was used for the NA open (group advancings), which was fine at the time, due to the (part) random draw, but now the players have rankings they needed to change it...but they've messed it up big time (did they forget? or do they have the knowledge?) and all the...

Note he didn't actually say "consecutive", so he could mean running 5 racks at any time. Don't nit-pick and expect not to get it back. :p ..but Hohmann was a large shock, he didn't just lose his matches, he lost them comfortably, it was also a surprise that LJJ could break and run so much.

Eurosport are no good at updating their schedules. They always change them. Don't get your hopes up but i would put money on that they show at least SOME live coverage and lot's of non-live coverage. One thing i know for certain is you should never trust eurosports schedules.

That video was amazing, difficiult to see how he can pull off such shots without thinking. I wouldn't say Drago is faster than him, they are about equal. I saw them play each other at the WPC 2 or 3 years ago, obviously the match went quick, but hard to follow as the games were over before you...

It could if they reduced the number of pre-qualifiers. Although that would reduce revenue for the IPT, which would fall into the "not so probable" category. :p
