How would you handle this situation..

    1) I know several people in this area who don't play unless it's for money, bars around here is where most of the big fish hang out. Easy money off drinkers. The bars here get more action than pool halls themselves. It's not uncommon to see guys around here with high dollar cues. I play in...

How would you handle this situation..

A quick new and ironic development in this whole situation.. Oregon Lottery is now investigating the bar and possibly taking away their Lottery License due to the fact gambling was/is being done on games there. I guess according to the contract you have to sign states that you cannot have/allow...

The Cue Ball - Salem, OR No Beer, No Liquor.. The only amenities they have are 3 vending machines... soda, coffee & snacks. They have been open since 1963. Constant action, 3 cushion, Golf, Snooker etc.. always happening.

How would you handle this situation..

It has crossed my mind a few times. The whole situation just stinks. I'm going to let this thread go for the time being until I get some updates or it's all settled. I'll keep everyone posted with new info as it comes.

    Cross-over banks to the corner

I was always told if the cue ball and object line up into the face of a pocket it's a double kiss. I believe Freddy Bentivegna also states something very similar in his book and DVD's. I've pretty much followed that principle and it hasn't failed me yet. What kind of English if any at all do...

How would you handle this situation..

I think the guy knew if he had backed out on the bet and taken the stick, things would have been much different, as in someone would have gotten hurt because he wasn't leaving without paying up. He knew he lost it, but didn't want my friend to have the satisfaction of the cue. BY doing what he...

How would you handle this situation..

Sounds like I don't have a good reputation for telling the truth? How do you gather that. I gave the Police what I seen in full detail. The bartender & the owner are both claiming that my buddy is the one who smashed the cue on the table even tho NEITHER were present. Too me it looks like the...

How would you handle this situation..

I was in Awe he took a $3,000 Ivory loaded Sheldon Lebow and just wrecked it.. then ran off. I don't know if this guy had a history of making bets and bailing or what. And believe me the thought of chasing him down to beat that ass was thought of more than once. I've asked around town and pool...

How would you handle this situation..

No camera on the table as it's considered "the money table" from what I understood. Witness' none that I am aware of. Someone did say the guy has a girl with him, but I think she was busy on the lottery machines. All of this makes me think the bar owner is in on something.

How would you handle this situation..

The story pretty much comes down to my buddy playing a gentleman for $500 in races to 5 8-ball. The guy eventually runs out of money ($1,500 later)... offers up his Sheldon Lebow cue to my buddies $200... he agrees. My buddy takes him 5-3 in the last set... The gentleman calmly breaks down his...

Dream or Nightmare: Your Next Match Has Just Been Called for the Accu-Stats Table

I have played a few professional and world ranked players during my years but never on a live stream or TV.. I would absolutely love to though. I was playing in a fairly large tournament here about 5 years ago and the largest Newspaper in Oregon was on hand to snap photos and write an article...

I let go of a higher end Schon LTD earlier this year. Loved the looks, but hated how it played. I went back to my Benson once it was recovered.

Repairing a Richard Benson sneaky pete

Far as I know, or from all the Benson's I have seen, they all have the conical shaped bolt. What I ended up doing was getting a wood dowel, filling the cavity with epoxy, shoved the wood dowel into the bolt hole as far as I could till it opened the cracks and oozed the glue out, removed the...
