    New Tip question

Putting a new tip on the wifes cue this weekend. She is an average player, minimal shape play, decent potter. Is it any easier to hit a draw and/or stop shot with a softer tip? I use a Kamui SS but I didnt want to put one on hers if it was going to make things harder on her.

Lats year I had someone come to my house, replace the rubber on my rails, and recloth the table. What tip do you use for Breaking?

Phenolic or a hard leather tip? I'm just curious when style of tip most people use for breaking. I am having a tough time controlling my cue on a 9 ball break with the phenolic tip, and was wondering if it made sense to switch it? Do you lose alot of power with a leather tip? I also play alot...
