I'm smart enough to know it's in the main forum, not NPR. Since the moderator himself does it, there obviously isn't a rule against politically divisive "humor" here - but maybe there should be.
I like this thread - don't want to see it become less fun.

And for those who remember, politics were not allowed in NPR for a long time either. But that started changing around 2007-2008. Wonder what happened then.
PJ is correct, political humor has to go both ways. Sometimes you're laughed with and sometimes laughed at. I can even see the humor in you being butt hurt and calling out folks, but I don't suspect I'm laughing with you on that one.
He started bs about gun control the other day, having nothing to do with being funny.
