What is your favorite match to watch over and over?

I've repeat watched quite a few matches, on YouTube and Accu-Stats. But my favorite match to watch over and over is TAR #1, Shane vs Corey, 10-ball race to 100, filmed in September 2007.

This was Shane's coming out party. He dominated this match, at one point winning 20 out of 23 games, and went on to win the US Open a month later. The 20 hours of commentary from Billy Incardona and Grady Mathews is so great, that I'll put the match on and just listen to it while I practice.

Obviously the $20,000 One-Pocket match between John Barton & Lou Figueroa. I can watch that till my eyes bleed, and they did once.

Shane vs Alex Round 1 from TAR.

https://vimeo.com/ondemand/svblion (PPV/OnDemand)

I bought it when it was originally released by TAR on a 3 DVD set. Greatest match ever. Last year of the old DCC venue. Shane vs Alex matching up in pure action. The commentary was candid, entertaining, and knowledgeable with many different people in the booth, including Jeanette Lee and Bobby Hunter for a lot of the match.

I know Ive watched this match at least 100 times, now that I'm talking about it, I think I'm going to put it on again tonight.

Good Topic btw... love watching pool. Hopefully I can find some new favorites here.

I hope not, but you can buy it from TAR's vimeo page here:

Incredible match. This is the match that kicked off multiple challenge matches and got The Action Report rolling. This is also the match that pushed Shane into success. After this match, he started winning everything. TAR deserves every nickel they still might make off their matches as they made multiple contributions to out sport in may ways.

That wasn't pool...more like Gay Porn with a little circus thrown in for effect.

TAR1 and Color of Money with Earl & Efren.

Since most of you already mentioned some of my favorites, how about Efren vs Busty at what I think is the W9C. Busty up like 4 - 1 and then Efren drops a 9 pack! Boom!

No question the match I've watched the most is my VHS copy of Efren vs Bustamante at the first Accu-Stats invitational 8 ball. Learned more about the game from that one than any other. Billy Incardona and Toni Anigoni commentate.

oh and Grady was absolutely fantastic calling this match!
From how much Mitch Lawrence sucked on ESPN to Corey having no chance! Greatness!

That match was very entertaining, for sure..But anyone really wanting to learn the game of one pocket, the following is the best I've ever seen!..Both Rich and Al are experts at 'trapping' and 'getting out of traps'! You only need the sound to keep track of the score, etc., as the commentating is very weak!

"One Pocket Rich" Grenier and "Little Al" Romero (2007)

Rich and Little Al, may not be the greatest 1P players, but both their moving skills are second to none!..A newbie to 1P, can learn more watching this match, than almost any other offering I've ever seen..In fact, even watching either of them getting beat, is still always a good lesson in shooting the best shot available! ;)

PS..John Henderson, don't you agree?
