I would be interested in hearing people's opinions on the maker of this cue.

Specs: 58" / 19.5 oz / 1 1/4" butt. Black Red Green Maple Veneers and Ebony prongs. Appears to be original and unmodified.

My guess is horn.......I like the incorporation of different elements of bushka and szamboti in this cue...whoever made it knew what the were doing for sure

Don't thinks it's a Black, the diamonds look high and I don't remember seeing that kind of ring work from him. But, it's possible.
What does the weight bolt look like?

The plastic ferrules and pearl rings make me think this is possibly an older Viking?

The ring work and pilots say Gus to me...but my only things about it are the use of acrylic in buttsleeve and the spacing of the points at the base of prongs.

Bottom one in pic is a Gus with same veneers and a ring above wrap.

You have something special. Whoever made it, knew what they were doing. I have a high diamond Gus and I have seen a similar butt on a Gus as well so I would be paying up for authentication.

Ok I take it all back haha! Just found pics of this old Gus with same acrylic rings....I say Gus lol
