And as a result of this years turning stone, strickland instead of svb.
Didnt like the move svb made on johnny archer. And strickland was dyno mite.

I’ve been mesmerized with Strickland during this Turning Stone. He looks to be back in his prime. If his break would go up just a notch... (not that I could do better, but I’m no pro and don’t pretend to be). But man that cat is lights out.

One dead, one sorta dead, one very much alive!

Willie Mosconi, the only person that changed my game.

UJ Puckett, he is still haunting his favorite hangout. Nobody sits in his chair!

JoeyA I don't know anyone who has worked harder for the sport or harder for his own game development. An all around good guy in all respects.

BlackJack has done a ton himself, rarely mentioned.

Terry Ardeno never made waves but has been a dedicated player and historian.

I'll stop at five but many more right here on our own forum deserve recognition.

I like lots of players, but I spent the majority of my years outside the US mainland and didn't get to see a lot of them in their primes.

Just to throw some names out:

Jose Parica ...simplicity and consistency

Earl Strickland...creativity and poetry in motion

Keith McCready/Alex Pagulayan...entertaining on/off the table

I mentioned my favorite player already
but in case they haven't already been mentioned
a few other names spring to mind
ronnie alcano, corey deuel, and larry nevel
warren kiamco was mentioned, but love his game
busty? he's earned a shout and then some
I would love to get a better look at those players past/passed
history reveals to us the truth
and much to admire

I could really say something kind about any pro's game
those guys (and gals- allison fisher and siming are great) have all obviously
put the work in
the proof is in the pudding

but what makes each player unique
is the way they express themselves on-table
for me, and perhaps others,
it comes down to aesthetics and style
creativity and imagination
personality

to those that have an instinct for the game
and who have time on the table
to those that love what they do
and show it when they play
I salute you
for you,
you are an artist
