Dear Gentle Readers,

That Auric Goldfinger quote reminds me, for some reason, of an action poolroom. Now, my mythic room predates iPhones, the Internet, instant photo-sharing, social media. Actually, now that I think about it, we’re seeing everything in black and white.

A stranger comes into town. Lemonades it. Beats the brash kid. Outlasts the local shortstop.

A hushed phone call is made. Our stranger waits, in no hurry.

My room, logic aside, has double doors like Western saloons in the old oaters.

The talent, Jackie Gleason-like, enters. Serene, unruffled, bemused.

Hmm … could there be a film here?

Fantasy is my life,

Sunny

P. S. Dr. Google references a possible Chicago connection to the ‘happenstance’ quotation. One naturally discounts this because of an unwarranted reference to the Mob. In Chicago?

P. P. S. Music? Ben Webster? Illinois Jacquet? Duke? Stan?

P. P. P. S. And how, precisely, do we accommodate Pussy Galore? (Here, irrationality triumphing, we shift from b & w to color.) Pussy, one of the more illustrative names in filmdom, naturally deserves a star turn. A moll? A frail? A shill? Hmm … nope. Something more resonant of her … well, resonance.

Once is interesting....

Twice is a bit puzzling....

Three times and I'm just confused and need some pictures added.

Speaking of "Google references," I have always wondered just why you "dissappear," only to re-appear sometime later on this forum. A quick Google search of "Sunnyone" unclouds the soup quite a bit.

BTW ,...... "Pussy Galore," was/is a female celebrity from the 60's. Her celebrity name was
Honor Blackman, ( used to honor the Black man during the civil rights movement)
What's next ?!? Financial advice from money-penny ?
