I don't have a bull in the ring.....just know how the other players feel about Scott's one pocket game and they don't take him lightly.....he's certainly capable of playing the game as well as it can be played....can he still do it? ....No one can honestly answer that, and Shane does stay in tip, top, playing shape, so it would be "tuff" either way.

While I do agree that is how it often is, this in a way reminds me of one of the best life lessons my old man taught me at a young age.....

....they should be embarrassed.

I don't pick on typos....we all make them....but I don't like using wrong words.
I've seen near riots at gambling over the years because of people assigning
their own pet meanings to words.

So some of us have to speak up or eventually all words will mean
nothing or everything....the thought makes me speechless...

I agree with you. One would think since the advent of computers people would improve spelling-wise via that "DOH" red underline that hits one in the face. A simple right click and bingo, the writer can select the correct spelling or add those that are uniquely germane to the pool world. Acronyms like SVB, for example, can be added; thereby, eliminating the continual red underlined highlighted "DOH" reminder. Even CTE can be added. Words like your (vs you're) unfortunately are not highlighted -- that takes, ummmmmm, smarts. When hungry, one should eat meat and not meet.





<Hope this helps someone; however, some folks just don't care! BTW, I did add the aforementioned acronyms to my dictionary! Not adding "ummmmmm" though>

is way bigger than home field advantage in football, home court in basketball, etc.

I'm not saying Scott is a lock to beat Shane on his home table, but he'd be tipping
the scales more in his favor here than he would somewhere else.

I hope this goes down and I bet it does, probably sooner rather than later. It sounds
like a scheduling conflict at the moment, but it'll happen.

Scott is a friend of mine but his best game left him two years ago. Shane is on the improve every time he plays. Scott hasn't finished well in a tournament for quite some time and he hasn't won for the cash in I don't know how long. Now could he regain form? I think so but woofing doesn't bring back your game. Playing does.

I'm pretty sure that Shane wants to play Scott even...
...he's just in game-making mode.

When Alex beat Scott for the $20,000 in LA, he had played Shane just
before...Alex lost $13,000 the first day at a g-note a game....
...made a miracle come-back the second day to come out 1 game ahead.

I don't think SVB needs weight off anybody...at anything on a pool table.

And home table advantage can be strong if you play on a bad table...
...a Diamond or a Gold Crown don't have enough surprises to give the
home player a big edge.

Scott doesn't need to be desperate to go for low-percentage shots, because what most of us consider "low-percentage," Scott considers routine. He's just that good. And very fun to watch! :thumbup:

I applaud Scot for having the audacity to woof at Shane....not too many people do that.
