★★ Scott Frost Challenges All Of Arizona & SVB ★★ $10,000

According to SVB and Scott on FB they played 33 hours in Vegas and broke even at 8/7. SVB on FB said he wouldn't play Scott even. Gotta love Frost stirring it up!

I'm sure you read it wrong
I was there
8 7 Svb won fast
Then 9 8 they broke even

We are talking about gambling in this thread.

Anyone can beat anyone in a tournament match.....however, playing a 6 or 7 ahead set Mitch would need a ball to have a chance.

We are talking about gambling in this thread.....that's the "reality check".

A reality check is strongly needed here....Mitch Ellerman just beat Scott a few days ago on that table, in the finals, to win the Arizona State One Pocket Championship.

Scott is a friend of mine but his best game left him two years ago. Shane is on the improve every time he plays. Scott hasn't finished well in a tournament for quite some time and he hasn't won for the cash in I don't know how long. Now could he regain form? I think so but woofing doesn't bring back your game. Playing does.

I wasn't suggesting that Ike play Scott, it was in reference to "chicago style one pocket"... "squeeze him like a boa"

Ike is the biggest one pocket name in Chicago that I KNOW... any his style is anything but that.

Chris Gentle gives ike 10-8 and ike is loser....... but chris is only a recreational player now a days.

He just finished third in the one pocket at derby. It's that not a good finish. Or the second place finish in the tourney the other day.

It is woofing not wolfing. Woofing and barking are the same.

Maybe I needta get set straight...but do we take scott over Bart in an ahead set of rotation?

I would be at least $4 on Bart's end (side, not butt. Fuggit, I am bettin me y doll hairs on Bart's ass).

What a waste. I really like his game and approach.

Some people just want to make money....doesn't he know he could be a broke a$$ pool player like we all aspire to be?

If you added the hours together Scott has played 5 times more gambling hours

Too bad Shane doesn't have any experience in at gambling in long sets. Oh wait. Dat Dem Der is a reality check.

Actually Shane does have experience gambling in long sets mostly playing 10 Ball and Bar Tables. If you added the hours together, Scott has played 5 times more gambling hours (at least) at One Pocket than Shane.

Shane is fundamentally a better player than Scott.....however, I'm not convinced he's any tougher......and sometimes that's the deciding factor when playing "for the cash".

I perceive, and this is just my impression from watching him at the table and in the chair for the last 7 years is that he has gotten increasingly tougher over the years. To the point where he can completely fade Earl's shenanigans. I long set with the freezer is a walk in park compared to that:thumbup:

While I do agree that is how it often is, this in a way reminds me of one of the best life lessons my old man taught me at a young age.....

A young bull and an old bull are standing atop a hill over looking a herd of cows.

The young bull says "HEY! WHY DON'T WE RUN DOWN THERE AND F ONE OF THEM COWS???"

The old bull calmly says "Why don't we walk down there and f' them all....."

Shane is f'ing them all... Pimpin ain't easy, but it's big bidness.

tougher than Scott playing on a Diamond Table?

Ask efren how tuff shane is at 1 pocket.

I didn't say he isn't "tuff"......he just may not be tougher than Scott playing on a Diamond Table in Phoenix.....I've seen his "A" game and although it would never be a "walk in a park," I do think it's enough to edge out Shane playing even one pocket.
