Well, coming in I predicted that the last 16 would be two Ko brothers and fourteen other guys, so I guess I nailed it. The Ko brothers really do play beautiful pool.

Let's hope the stream stays up for the next round. Following the event through live scoring really isn't very exciting.

Looks like the cream is really rising to the top in the sweet 16 here. This is always a great tournament, but the next few rounds look particularly good.
 
First time trying the stream on my crappy internet. Working good so far. I'll be watching the Mike D match. Chung wins lag and breaks and makes a ball, gets ugly on the 3 and scratches. Mike up 1-0.

If someone is up to beat yapp, they gota make zero mistakes, ive been watching this young man play all tournament and he maybe missed one or two shots in all matches, impressive play. I said he would win this tournament and I'm still thinking the same.
 
Shane needs to take advantage here. He's missed two easy shots. Should be up 2-0. Going to be 1-1 with Shane breaking.
 
I just got Yapp - he hung the nine ball in the corner pocket. make that 3 balls missed all tournament :D :D :D
 
not to turn this into a happy fest, but just like the NCAA basketball tournament, anyone who makes it to the final 8 here can be very proud of themselves. That's a lot of match wins and no fluke.
