wow my screen froze while mike was on the 9 and then the score shows 11-9.
Yup, he overcut it and that was all she wrote.
Mike finishes tied for 9th and reminded us that we have two players in America that can compete with the world's most elite. On the forum, most think we have just one.
:sorry: All streams down and only 22 minutes to go before the start of the FINAL 8 session. Hopefully they bring it back asap. Good matches coming right up. Looking forward to see the SVB vs Orcullo match.
Watch out for Aloysius Yapp. He is the dark horse of this tournament.
Wu just nailed the 9 ball taking out Wang Can
Alcaide about to be upsetted by Polish Szew...now Alcaide down 10-8
Polish break but no shot on 1

I think there are 4 with the two Justins.
If you have the time, what were the matches that FR picked correctly/incorrectly and what were the player ratings at the time of the match?Szewczyk over Alcaide is not an upset: he is rated 20 points higher.
Of the last 24 matches (round of 32 and round of 16), FargoRate got 5 matches wrong. WPA rankings got 10 matches wrong.
last 9 ball on the table...

I like your attitude. The point was really that no American other than Shane gets his due on the forum. Mike is America's second best by a country mile. I'd put Hall third for sure. I'm less certain about Bergman, but maybe.
This is exactly what my screen looked like when it froze just a fraction of a second before that 9 missed the pocket. I knew the minute he hit it that it would catch the point at the very least, but I hoped for a fortuitous bobble. I was in limbo for several minutes before the stream came back and showed the 9 still sitting there... and the score now 11-9 in favor of Pin Chung.![]()
