1-pocket question

Player A gets 8, but doesn't realize it. He shoots at another ball and sells-out. Player B, makes the remaining balls, but comes-up a ball short when pulling the balls.

Does anyone make the case for player A not winning the game?

If I am player B, after I pull out 7 balls and realize my opponent is already cleaned up and finished I give him the game no questions asked.

If I am player A, I kick myself in the nuts for not realizing I was already out...

If you can't pull balls out holes or take out the opponents pocket? Meow could player b ever win?

As long as there is no foul on the 8th ball, once it's made it is game over.

Gambling you may play "slept" balls count differently. It's just usually upsetting to battle back and then have someone realize they were out.

Have to suck it up and play the next game.

Player A wins. There is no penalty for not ending the game at the time the winning ball is made.
I assume these guys were playing without any weight being given? :)

If A fouls and puts a ball up, then things get more complicated. Both players need to remember to count.

When playing one pocket things can get very funny if you dont pay attention. Many players aren't always the most honest, especially funny when gambling.

Ball count before and after every inning will save you alot of b.s.

Player a won when he made 8.

The only time you can lose after making the 8th ball is if you continue to shoot and scratch. You then have to spot up the ball made and one from your side. It is called continuing to accept the action. This only happens in gambling games never in a tournament.
