Those 10 foot tables at the classic don't seem to take much more than dead center on little more than pocket speed. Ring game should be fun. Johnnyt

What kind of table? Snooker table?

It's the new 10' Diamond table. AZB's RealKingCobra mighta had a little input on the construction. They are for sale now (over 5 figures for one).

Anyone know when the ring game is? Is it insidepool.tv or accu-stats?

The have the exact same Pro cut pockets as the 9ft Diamond ProAms do, 4 1/2" corner pockets and 5 1/16" side pockets;)

Glen, what are the playing surface dimensions of these 10fters?

Commentator on the live stream said he measured them at 112 x 56

I was expecting them to be 110 x 55 but that was just my guess.

IVe been watching the stream and they seam to be cut like the pockets on the 9' Diamonds.

From watching the stream they seem to play the same as the pro cut 9' tables to me also.

On long shots having the larger playing surface will cause the players to miss more just because of the length of the shot. I can't make a long shot on a 9' table so I couldn't imagine playing on those everyday.

Johnny the pockets take balls very easy to me, having played on the table a lot. They will tighten up a little once the cloth wears in, but for now they play good.

I agree with Lee, it looks like the pockets accept balls very well. With new slick cloth they play soft for now. Like all Diamonds though in due time they will be a challenge. Doesn't apply to Diamonds only, all tables tighten up with worn cloth.

After reading Paul8ball's post about the fact that he himself measured these pockets after leveling them they are 4 7/16.......Sounds good to me......this should put this issue to bed........

They are also saying the corners are 4 1/4". Do they have3 that right too:). Johnnyt

I was involved in designing these tables, trust me...they're Procut 4 1/2" corner pockets. Pocket openings are measured between the points of the pockets...not deeper than that. If you place the balls between the points of the pocket opening and draw a line straight through the middle of the balls between the points from one side to the other...and the balls fit half way in, half way out...and 2 balls have a total width of 4 1/2" when added together...then the pocket opening is 4 1/2". I don't have to guess, I work on pool tables for a living....and was at the factory when these tables were being built...so they're not 4 1/4" or any other size:grin:
