12 footer in Seattle/Tacoma area?

Did Malarkey's (City Lights) jettison theirs? I drove all the way up there to play one time and they were having a tournament with all the paraphenalia for the tournament laid out on the snooker table. Very disappointing. It's the only one I've ever seen that actually had napped cloth on it.

The Eastlake Zoo has one with 860 on it. 2301 Eastlake Ave. N. in Seattle (206) 329-3277, nice place, table played well. I think there might have been a couple of places where you had to jack up to hit a CB off the rail, but not nearly as bad as some I've seen. I got there around noon or so on a Saturday and had the place all to myself. Price was very reasonable.

I think Jillian's may have one as well at 731 Westlake Ave. N. in Seattle (206) 223-0300. I'm not sure about Dr. Cue's at 14713 Bothell Way. NE in Shoreline, but you can call (206) 365-1187 and find out.

McMenamin's at the Olympic Club in Centralia has a 10' table if you are down that way.

Malarky's

Yeah City Lights snooker table has been gone for years but its coming back soon. Will be the same table probably with new 760.

Did not know Dr.Cues ever had a snooker table but I heard they are going out of business(Russian Dave's opened nearby with Diamond tables).

Thanks for the info bsmutz, will check out the Zoo,it looks interesting.

Nice place like that and they only carry Lucasi...sounds like blasphemy...:o

Yeah Parlor is a nice upscale place. Not really a place for players at night with the loud music and commotion around the place. They have some happy hour specials that make the place halfway reasonable.

Eastlake Zoo is an old dark place but the table is okay. They also have one of the lights from the 211 Club when it closed.

As of last fall Jillians still had their 12 footer upstairs

I always thought it would be cool if pool halls did membership fees.
Don't know how you could make it fair if non members were shooting at the table though.

snooker table at Golden Fleece

i talked to Dave at Golden Fleece Billiard today and he told me that he is planning to put one or two full size snooker tables in the hall but he is worried about that this will waste his time and hall spaces if there is no one interested in snooker. anyway, you guys may try to call to find out what his final decision is.

The standard procedure around here is that if you are on a monthly membership and there's a waiting line, you can either go on time or give up the table.

Golden Fleece

it is a high standard simonis for snooker according to the owner. depend on the demand for snooker game, the owner might install one or two more full size tournament snooker table and host some tournament(national tour maybe). the hourly rate is cheap(for me), $2.5 day time until 6pm, $5 until midnight, $2.5 until close.

To all snooker fellows in seattle area

i plan to run a private snooker club(member only) in Seattle area. i'm looking for 20-30 members before i start working on it. 2 to 4 full size tables depends on the number of member. 24/7 access to the club with security code and keys given to members. this is a place for you to meet some other snooker fellows in great Seattle area. it will have a small area for you to rest, eat, and watch tv. for those who are interested, let me know where you reside so that i know the best area to run the club. Membership fee depends on the area. it can be done in two months after i find enough members.

Anyone know if there is a 12 foot snooker table in an establishment in the Puget Sound area?

The Tacoma Elks lodge is the only one I know of and they are going to be losing it when they move to their new location next year.

Take care
